if you don't want to know, don't read or watch explanations. i am an amateur/hobbyist magician. i like to create illusions myself, and the more i know about the art, the less i have to start from square one. i will never create a copperfield size trick, but i have developed a miniature of houdini's metamorphisis. so, the doofus brigade that goes, "aaah, he used wires, mirrors, a double, he didn't really go over the niagra falls, etcetera", are phillistines. let them know how all of it is done. it is ultimately their loss. for the rest of us, we love the art of a well done performance.
and no amount of revelatory explanations will ruin our appreciation of a job well done.

If you watch the Copperfield trick on YouTube, he says people ask him how he can insult people's intelligence? Then he says, "It's got nothing to do with intelligence, IT'S ILLUSION!!!" He never said it's real. Grow up.

I don`t know about everyone else, but i like knowing magic tricks so i can perform them myself. As a magician myself, it relieves me of the stress of always wondering how the flapjack people do these crazy tricks. Even if i don`t want to perform certain tricks, i still feel great i know how to do them.

Just about the picture taken on the show,i would prefer to ask a professional if he can do visual effect ( in realtime )

Why is it that so many people complain about not wanting the tricks revealed. What you really need to do is stop forcing people to come to this site and watch the videos who don't want the illusion revealed. Oh, wait. You don't.

Yes of course there is no such thing as real magic...
but you guys just act like smug jackasses out of figuring out a trick.

Take, for example, a clown performing simple tricks to a bunch of 4 year olds. Teens and adults will not be amused and will figure the tricks out straight away, but it still never fails to excite the children.

Professional magicians working on stage perform tricks as well, but they are more complex and usually require a lot more effort to pull off. The end result is they impress everyone and make everyone have a joyous time - kids, teens, and adults alike!

Now - I have to admit I like a trick being revealed. But not in the smug way you guys did it you faggots!

It doesn't matter whether is trick or "magic", it's all about entertainment. It's FUN to watch and wonder "how the hell he did it?" even if we don't wanna know how he did it, because is not knowing it's fun. You Trickbusters are really assholes.
