At 21, I pulled a bunny from my college graduation cap and made international publicity. At 25 I cheated death doing the bullet catch at Houdini's grave and also wrote the cult hit: Twelve Have Died.
In 1988 I was produced as the only one man show in the Music-Theatre Group's history. Having won many Tony and Obie awards, this group esteemed my conjuring worthy of a one man show. I toured that show for ten years through colleges and performing arts centers. I have now done 5 one man shows over 21 years: Out Of Order (1988), After Magic? (1989) Psychodyssey (1991) Time For Magic (2007) and recently this past summer at Spiegeltent, L'Art De la Magie (The Art of Magic, 2009).
My most recent book is: The MagiCIAn: John Mulholland's Secret Life, about the CIA's first magician. I live in New York City and perform widely on stage with a full 90 minute show, or close up surrounded by people at private and corporate parties.
I have performed for both the Harrison Conference Centers and the Hamlet Golf & Country Clubs over 30 times each! I perform magic because I want people to experience the wonder of magic, which I first felt in 1967. So far, over about 15 countries I think I have entertained over 3 million people live.
